How do I sign up to be a driver?

Simply download the yurban driver app from play sore or app store and register by uploading the required documents. After approval you are all set to accept rides.

What documents are required when registering?

We require you to upload your driver’s licence, NTSA inspection certificate, National ID card, police clearance, logbook, vehicle insurance and your original passport photo.

How long does it take to be approved?

On complete registration, approval should be done within 24 hours.

How do I get paid?

Clients pay you through MPESA. We pay out to your MPESA account every week.

Is Yurban Rides a foreign company?

No. Yurban rides is a kenyan owned company made for Kenyans by Kenyans. All proceeds remain within our borders.

What vehicle types can I register?

Yurban rides accepts all vehicle types from lorries, tuktuks, motorcyles, vans and even pickups.

How do I add my vehicle details?

Once you’ve downloaded your application and logged in successfully, expand the menu on the top left side of your screen and select add vehicle.

I don’t drive full-time. Can I use Yurban Rides for just a few hours a week?

Of course, some of our drivers are only active a few hours during weekends and make solid part-time income.
